CHEVRON - COCOCOZY FINDS

chevron zigzag clutch purse side table lamp maxi dress pillow home decor fashion shopping
Chevron chic is not going away!  This zigzag pattern is a dominant force in fashion and home decor.  It is this summer...like it was last spring, last winter, last fall, the summer before and so on and so on.  You get the picture.

Just a few of my favorite zigzag finds!

1. Chevron clutch purse / 2. Wood navy/white table lamp / 3. Maxi sun dress / 4. Sea foam/sea green linen pillow / 5. Gray/white octagonal side table

My top pick? The black & white Narciso Rodriguez clutch purse...a new twist on chevron in the form of an adorable bag!

COCOCOZY DESIGN FIND - SMOK CHAIR & RUG!

smok chair austrian designer hans sapperlot modern furniture design wool

Love the Smok collection by Austrian furniture designer Hans Sapperlot. Invisible stitching and an embroidery technique called smocking to create a modern quilt like effect.  The wool has a soft feel as it has been treated and shrunk...also it is water resistant as it comes from mountain sheep.  Sapperlot has used this smock technique in this modern home furnishings collection to create Eames like shaped chairs, nubby rugs and even lamps and pendant lights. I like!

COCOCOZY FIND: LOVING BLOGLOVIN'!

COCOCOZY on Bloglovin on a computer in a kitchen
My computer screen on my kitchen counter with COCOCOZY on Bloglovin'! (above)

For you blog lovers, I think "it" is better than Twitter and I daresay "it" could be better than Pinterest (I just heard a gasp and scream from avid pinners out there...but it is true). I know you are probably wondering what "it" is.  Well I am a recent adopter...and am now a fan of Bloglovin'.

Bloglovin' is a website that provides a feed of all the best that is out there in the blogosphere.  Part aggregator, part social network I think.  4 million blogs are on Bloglovin' but for some reason the way everything is organized on the site, it is easy to find the latest from the best of the best in whatever category you are looking for. I of course check out fashion, home decor, beauty and more.

Bloglovin' is my COCOCOZY FIND of the week! Note...millions of people already subscribe to Bloglovin' but of course my reality is on a bit of delay. So for me this is a find!

Happy Monday!

COCOCOZY FIND: SCALLOPED WALL TILES!

navy, turquoise and white scalloped wallpaper

I like these cool scalloped patterned adhesive wall tiles designed by artist Jim Houser for Blik (the company that sells lots of cute wall stickers). Cute for an accent wall in a kids room I think.  The scallop design in navy, aqua and white works.  Caught my eye!

What do you think of these self adhesive wall panels? Would you ever use in your home?  If so, how?  If not, why not?

Happy Tuesday!

Cute floral scooter on display at C Wonder in NYC (not for sale)(above)
I am sure every blogger who has been to NYC in the past year or who lives in NYC has done a post on the store C Wonder (started by Tory Burch's ex husband). Well I haven't so now I'm going to follow the crowd and do my own! I love this cute multi faceted clothing home furnishings jewelry general knick knack store.

Love love love...

Since I was in NY yesterday for a whirlwind 48 hour trip...I managed to pop into the store and found four fabulous goodies that are worth a second glance...wonderful...you see?

Green and white ethnic print ceramic dish ware on a floating, glass shelf with subway tile walls
Ceramic Ikat Dinnerware - $10-$14 (above)

neutral leather rectangle tray with round metal handles
Rectangular Tray with Handles - $88 (above)

Red, white, pink and green enamel bamboo bracelet
Enamel Bamboo Embossed Bracelet - $28 (above)

orange and navy metal water bottles in a square white box
Metal Water Bottles - $9 (above)

Which of these goodies is your favorite? I am partial to the cute metal water bottles...would be perfect for walking up and down Runyon Canyon on the weekends.

Happy Thursday!

P.S.  Talking about over scheduled...for two nights in a row...I had dinner twice.  I double booked - twice...is that a quadruple!  In NYC I had dinner with best of friend AM early on and then met up at 10p with friend A.Ro and had dinner at Locanda again...I don't think I actually ordered though.  Then last night here in Los Angeles, I met AM's hubby JE who was in for just a day and had dinner with him in Beverly Hills and then drove 1 block (yes 1 block) and had dinner with sis DS.  Who does that?

P.P.S.  My NY schedule was whirlwind...back to back meetings, lunches, parties, drinks for two full days.  Am a little pooped...but it was ALL so much fun!

P.P.P.S. Have a great day!
