CITY KITCHEN CONFIDENCE

Kitchen in a West Village apartment with subway with dark grout walls, grey cabinets, French doors and large kitchen island

The kitchen in a West Village apartment with garden views.  A city apartment kitchen with a sophisticated country look.  Subway tile with dark grout line the walls, dark charcoal gray cabinets and gray trim around the large french doors, brass accents adding a bit of gleam and white marble counters.  Very nice.  A place to cook, dine, and entertain.  Lately am obsessed with having a nice size kitchen with an island.  Can imagine some day my big kitchen with an island being the focal point of my home...I would cook (yes mom I would cook), work on COCOCOZY (via laptop), drink lots of Earl Gray tea, entertain my friends and family, and some days just take some time to sit quietly and dream.

What do you like about this New York City apartment kitchen?

Happy Thursday!

WINE COUNTRY KITCHEN CRUSH!

wine country home designed by Krista Schrock and David John Dick with reclaimed wood paneled kitchen island, black pendant lights, leather barstools and green subway tile backsplash

Here are the 5 things I'm loving about this wine country rustic industrial kitchen:

1. Reclaimed wood paneled kitchen island
2. Sage green subway tile backsplash and cabinets
3. Black pendant lights hanging over the island
4. Metal floating shelves
5. Furniture (Eames chairs in breakfast nook and leather barstools)

This kitchen was expertly crafted by Los Angeles based interior designers Krista Schrock and David John Dick from Disc Design.

Nice!

What do you think about this wine country kitchen? Like? Anything you would add to my list? Anything you might add to the design?

Oh did you notice the cork floor...?  Good looking I think.

Happy Friday!

P.S. Going to a Lakers game tonight with TE...will be fun.

P.P.S. What does one wear to a Lakers game? Hmmmm...

P.P.P.S. Mr. Boo update: Went to visit Mr. Boo at the hospital yesterday. He seems to be doing better after back surgery. He spent the entire time trying to jump out of the cage while I was there. A busy body as usual...even while recuperating!! :-)

P.P.P.P.S. Next week is a busy week for COCOCOZY. We are working on shipping 500 pillows and 275 COCOCOZY throws for two very special orders that we've been working on. I'll tell you about both of those later. Very exciting and very busy. CM who runs all things operations and JW who assists are up to their ears in planning schedules. Lots of COCOCOZY textiles going out into the world!  Wish us luck.  We'll pack everything up on Friday and Saturday hopefully!!!
