A BATH MADE FOR HER

Girly bathroom with white marble floor, stand alone bathtub, Trellis wallpaper, vanity with a lucite chair under an oval window

Had a wonderful whirlwind weekend in San Francisco with TE.  Saw friends (JO & TO), family (my sweet cousins ES & MS), dined, walked, threatened to jump on a trolley car, took a million photos (will share those later) and went to a San Francisco 49ers football game (TE's favorite team...they won).  After a late night dinner at the legendary Zuni Cafe.  Had to get on a early flight back to Los Angeles for work this morning - working at the beach if you can believe it.  Hard hard life?  Right?

Anyhoo, after the hustle and bustle of the weekend...I could use some down time in a lovely girly bathroom like this.  A long soak in the tub just relaxing.  I like this white marble bath with the stand alone tub,  Imperial Trellis wallpaper and the lovely vanity under the oval window with the lucite chair.  Feminine...made for a girl I think...guys I am sure would enjoy it too.

FEARLESS HOME DECOR

An all hot pink living room! (above)

Fearless home decorating...would you be able to take the plunge and dive right in and decorate rooms like this?  Makes an incredibly powerful statement...rather playful and fun too.  But could you actually imagine daring yourself to design without fear.

A hot pink living room,  A bathroom bathed in black and white even in the sink bowl basin.

"Wow" is all I can say!

Very eye catching (an understatement really).  A little scary to actually imagine taking design risks like these.  Could you do it?

Are you design daring?  Could you do it?  Please weigh in on comments below.

I wish I had 4 houses.  In one of those houses, I would definitely be fearless (have the decor outlined for the other 3 already!).  As of right now, I simply have one very tiny cottage in the Hollywood Hills...so cannot completely put fears aside...but I can dream.  I would do the black and white bathroom.  Would leave the hot pink living room for my best of friend AM!

Happy Saturday!

WEEKEND PHOTO!

Bathroom with painted white wood floors, glass interior doors, dark sheer curtains, a metal mirror, and a large basin porcelain sink

Nice view into a lovely white bath area! Glass interior doors, dark sheer curtains, a fantastic metal mirror, a large basin porcelain sink and the piece de resistance, white painted wood floors.

Wonder if I could recreate this look in my tiny tiny home in the Hollywood Hills? I wonder. Looking into some doors like these right now!

Do you like or dislike? Do tell!

Happy Saturday!

P.S. Had a lovely dinner with SR at Katsuya last night. Only funny thing is that during the whole evening, every one on the wait staff kept stopping at the table to check on us. Turns out SR knows the owners and it seems the staff was alerted to this by the owners!

P.P.S. Must go out and find Real Simple magazine today. Apparently, a Nbaynadamas pillow made it into an editorial layout! Woohooo...stand by for more on this.
