CB2 - Hancock Bookshelf - $199 (Red powdercoated metal bookshelf with five shelves. Two crosses keep the shelf stable. Levelers included)(above)
Have a problem committing to color in a room...my advice is take baby steps. This metal bookshelf could be the first step for us color commitment-phobes. This shelf could easily blend into a home office, a bedroom or even a living room painted any neutral color. The fine lines and slender footprint/dimensions allows one to have some extra color in a room without having that color scream out at you.
Oh yes! One more thing besides the look. This bookshelf is, of course, functional too...with five shelves for books (i.e. your favorite Jane Austen novel or perhaps, should I even admit, John Grisham thriller...I am very embarrassed now...thought I would never reveal my penchant for Grisham "novels" in public because I usually sneak and buy them for fear that someone will find out that from time to time I do have an occasional predilection for less than literary classics!) or storage boxes.
A pinch of color, a dash of a bright hue...this bookshelf is function and form...Color 101 for those of us who are learning!
