Don't forget to look up when decorating!
Y Lighting - Caboche Ceiling Light - $1,530 (Design by Patricia Urquiola and Eliana Gerotto, 2005 from Foscarini this round bubble like ceiling lamp is composed of transparent spheres made of polymethylmetacrylate (a plastic). Shade in blown glass, white matt finish.
Dimensions 19.75" D X 7.5" H) (above)
I think I may have in some instances forgotten about lighting and looking up when designing in my small little house in the Hollywood Hills (one omission was brought to light with a "friend" who was touring my tiny house...I was slightly horrified when during my small house tour I was talking (bragging) about remodeling and all of sudden he gasped while looking up and said as he pointed to an old giant discolored yellowish off-white canister track lighting system in my bathroom and said "What is that?". Hmmm...oy va voy...).
If you have low ceilings, decorative ceiling lights are a great alternative to chandeliers. Also, dressing up a ceiling with a light fixture in any room of your home, can help complete the design picture.
Love this ceiling light shaped in the form of cushion of sorts and made out of a series of clear balls or bubbles as I like to think of the them!
