Photo from PB Teen
Saw this photo above from PB Teen's website. Thought this was a bright cheery room...and noticed it was made even more bright and cheery by all of the mirrors decorating the walls.

I've noticed that groups of mirrors are being used as art quite a bit lately; I've notice a few friends, several restaurants and many hotels are taking groups of mirrors and arranging them to make up an artistic design of sorts. Round mirrors, convex mirrors, square mirrors, rectangular mirrors...the shape doesn't matter it seems...it is more about how you arrange the group of mirrors that seems to matter.
When in doubt about what art to put on a wall behind a sofa, above a bed in a bedroom, along the walls of a long hallway...put up a collection of mirrors in creative ways.
Here's today's CHEAP TO CHIC on mirrors that can be used as art:
PB Teen - Bubble Dot Mirror Set - $69 (Five mirrors per set. Made of resin with a glossy finish. 4–9" diam. Blue/Green, Pink/Orange, Green/Yellow, Navy/Green color combinations) (above)
Crate and Barrel - Canteria Mirrors - $159 for set of three (Rustic iron handcrafted in a unique concave bevel frames a simple 10.25"-square mirror. Dark chocolate brown finish is hand-rubbed to a rich patina, making each unique. Hang horizontally or diagonally) (above)
Z Gallerie - Step Mirrors - $179 each (Round or Square wall mirrors in either black or white that can be arranged in a variety of patterns. Tiered rings, deeply set with a high gloss finish. Round is 24.75" diameter; Square is 24.25"x24.25") (above)
Ballard Designs - Dalton Mirror Set of Five - $199 (Five white wash molded wood framed mirrors. Largest is 20" square)
Question: Would you use mirrors in lieu of good old fashioned art in a room? Or do you think it is a bad idea?
