I am still loving faux bamboo.  I think a lot of people in the design community may have moved passed this trend...but I am still into this look.  I have a little glass and metal faux bamboo side table in my den...it is the perfect mix of modern and classic to me.

Nbaynadamas + LILLY PULITZER'S NEW FURNITURE COLLECTION = LOTS OF LOVE!

Have I been living under a rock? (...the answer is yes...but for these purposes let's make this a rhetorical question...)

How did I just discover yesterday that renowned and venerable preppy fashion and lifestyle brand Lilly Pulitzer is launching a furniture collection this summer? Hello?

Once I found out, I immediately emailed the nice people over at Lilly Pulitzer and got some pretty fabulous images of the new furniture collection set to launch this summer!

Bright pinks, eye catching blues, classic lines but innovative style...so spring, so summer...love!

When I first laid eyes on these home furnishings I thought..."oh this collection is so perfectly preppy, bright, cheerful and Lilly"...and then I thought in a self involved sort of way, "wow, this collection is so perfectly a fit with Nbaynadamas".  So here we are...Nbaynadamas + Lilly Pulizter!  I also added a little from the fashion side of the Lilly Pulitzer line too...very cute bright summer clothing - dresses, skirts, pants tops and accessories (I need to conquer my fear of bright clothing and just try out something colorful this summer...brave...remember my New Year's resolution...)!

Am extremely happy I have a pretty much first early peek at the collection according to Lilly's PR people! Yippee!!!

WINDOW SHOPPING: TWO CHAIRS AND A MIRROR!

Yesterday I almost had an accident while driving down Beverly Blvd. I saw these chairs in the window of one of the stores I had always wanted to go into called Emmerson Troop. I made one of my classic u-turns and dove right in. These red metal vintage 1950s faux bamboo chairs literally stopped me in my tracks. Had to post them asap for you to enjoy too.

While inside the store, I was trying to get creative with my photography...by catching a glimpse of the chairs in a mirror when I also saw this cool decorative mirror on colored glass mirror (make sense?).

Nice design finds I think for a Saturday afternoon drive by!

SHOP WATCH: VERY VOGUE VINTAGE AT CIRCA WHO IN WEST PALM BEACH!

Tracy DeRamus, owner of furniture shop Circa Who in West Palm Beach, Florida, has an impeccable eye for very chic vintage home furnishings, lighting and accessories finds!

Tracy describes the store's aesthetic as "Hollywood Regency meets Vintage Florida" and the key to her successful furniture hunting is that she only buys what she absolutely loves!

Love all of the faux bamboo furniture, tole metal chandeliers, fretwork and carved wood pieces...so fabulous...very stylish retro...fantastic!

I'll stop blabbering on...take a look at what this fab Florida store has to offer.
