Was out shopping this weekend in a store on La Brea called Plantation - filled with home furnishings. The small store is packed with furniture and even more packed with accessories. So much to see...hard to concentrate. What I did notice, when I gave my eyes a rest by looking up at the walls...was a panoply of round mirrors. The store consists of three rooms. There was a round mirror on almost every wall. Is round in because of rules of Feng Shui which say a round convex mirror wards off evil...or is round in just because it is in...?

Mirror from Plantation - $495
Needless to say...a good round mirror can liven up a room...brighten a wall and add visual interest where needed. Can a mirror serve as art to cover an empty wall? The obvious answer is...yes...of course!
Pottery Barn - Seneca Mirror - $349 on sale
Round mirrors...starburst mirrors...convex mirrors...concave mirrors...sunflower mirrors...round mirrors come in every form, shape, size...

Jonathan Adler - Raindrops Mirror - $1250
