A Los Angeles home gets a major face lift and it starts right when you walk into the house. The Sunset Team's La Kaza Design group artfully restored the entry hall of this mid-century home so as to preserve the vintage mod looking stain glass windows. Before the remodel, the yellow toned stained glass cast an eerie hue on the home's entrance in the before photo below...but after, the warm gold of the glass creates bright and cheery space (above)...with bright white painted walls and a dark cement or concrete stained floor.

Walls are knocked down in the home's entry way to make the once small narrow closed off outdated old kitchen into a large open kitchen with all of the modern touches (integrated appliances, white quartz countertops and more).

After, the bright open kitchen features modern amenities including exotic wood cabinets, bar counter and integrated appliance fronts. The open floor plan allows the kitchen to open right onto the entry area and main living room of the house. Photo copyright The Sunset Team/La Kaza Design (above)
