My mother is looking to revamp a dining area in her home...she's asked me to come up with a few concepts. She asked me a few months ago actually.

Well my mom's birthday is this month...so as a birthday gift...I am giving her this concept for dining room furniture. Now, just want to point out, this is why I could never be a decorator...my mom is actually looking for furniture for a breakfast area in her kitchen...I instead got carried away and found pieces for a luxurious modern formal dining space - all from Maison Luxe in Seattle. A French inspired dining space...my mom is a total Francophile; she just got back from Paris and Biarritz last week. Anything that reminds her of France seems to put a smile on her face. So while she is looking for breakfast nook furniture, maybe the French theme here will do... right? So much for the exercise of "listening".

Anyhooo, I will chat with mom and find out whether any of this is appealing to her...will keep you posted. While this isn't quite what you were looking for...I hope you enjoy.
