SEE THIS HOUSE: A $9.25 MILLION BEACH HOUSE!

front exterior of a house in the hamptons

So, I want a house in the Hamptons.  Period.

Here's the latest in my search of multimillion dollar real estate listings there...

From Saunders Realty, a $9.25 million dollar home that sits on an acre of land, a stone's throw from the beach, with 7 bedrooms and 8.5 baths in 8,000 sq. feet.

Not sure this is quite my Hamptons dream house...maybe it is the staging that is throwing me off a bit.  But it does have many of the things I would want in my little ol' beach home..let's see...

Lots of bedrooms - check
Private beach access - check
Chef's kitchen - check
Grounds (way of saying you have more than a sliver of a backyard) - check
Library (to house books I don't have time to read) - check
Sunroom (a room to enjoy the sun?) - check
Lots of bedrooms (did I mention that already) - check

Anyhooo, take a look at this listing and let me know whether you could "work" with it to make it into your summer weekend getaway spot.

What do you think?  Take it or leave it?  I would definitely leave behind all of the furnishings, repaint that dining room and take down the color themed drapes in each room and then start over...and then I would take it in heartbeat.  Now what to do if I was offered this as is with furniture and all...I guess I would have to figure out a way to live with it all...would be a first world problem indeed!

Want to hear what you would do.  Please weigh in!

Happy Monday!
