A comfortable accessible family home in Toronto. This home was featured on Vogue's website...apparently the home where Vogue.com contributor and blogger Sophie Young grew up. A very warm home a mix of old and new. The home sits in a residential neighborhood in the center of Toronto. It was an abandoned property before Sophie's parents took it over and made it their own.
A safe, stylish, fresh, personal, unpretentious space to raise a family. The decorating style combines old and new quite seamlessly along with a little whimsy in the form of color and art. Well done. Take a look.
Queen Anne chairs were found and upholstered in a red and white floral print in the dining room (above) |
Black and white stripe floors and a red kitchen island make bold statements in this family kitchen (above) |
This is the master bedroom and it is pink - Sophia's dad let her mom go with a traditionally feminine color in their bedroom (above) |

What do you think of this Canadian home?
Happy Wednesday!
