Love this kitchen! Cement tiles, brass accents, black cabinets, subway tile backsplash, and amazing built in bookshelves. A totally modern kitchen with a vintage warm style. Love the stand alone turned wood leg table that acts as a kitchen island and the built in window bench seat. Perfection.

To me the biggest statement in the room comes from the floor. I am obsessed with decorative cement tiles lately. I've ordered some samples for a project I am working on. You can see them later today on my Instagram account @Nbaynadamas. I love the idea of a rich pattern on the floor. It creates so much texture and depth to the room.
