I started thinking about marble tile the other day and then I couldn't stop thinking about marble tile. Why?...I don't know. Actually I do know why. I have a friend who is buying a house and we started talking bathroom tile and kitchen counters and all of a sudden I was only thinking about tile. My mind zeroed in on marble mosaic tile...classic and elegant...perfect for a bathroom floor I think, or a fantastic entryway perhaps, or even a colorful kitchen backsplash!
What is the cure when you start thinking about something (in a nearly obsessive manner) and can't get it out of your mind? The answer in all cases is simple...go to the source (whatever that might be).
So, to cure my need to see some traditional/simple marble mosaics, I stopped into one of my favorite stone/tile stores - Royal Stone & Tile located on Sepulveda Blvd. here in Los Angeles.
There! They had what I was looking for...lots of marble mosaic tile patterns....love the look of marble...to me it is a very chic stone. I like the detail of mosaic - it provides a visual point of interest in any room of a home.
