Orange tulips and wild grass at my house. (above)
Sorry I haven't posted in days. Had a rough week and wasn't feeling well. Am back and better now.
I made this flower arrangement yesterday and thought you might enjoy - even if it is just for laughs!
Is this "arrangement" ugly or pretty? You tell me. I am leaning towards pretty in an ugly sort of way. :-)
All I did was take long wild grass and wrapped it around the inside of a glass urn, then plopped in 20 orange tulips in various phase of bloom, and then threw in the rest of the grass. A disorganized modern classic floral arrangement mishmosh I think. Arrangement is a big word for these flowers as I did no arranging at all. I just put them in the urn and you can tell!
Here's the only thing I will say...no matter how little you do with tulips or flowers they still brighten up a space and make me smile. So regardless if it is objectively ugly or pretty...these flowers hit the right emotional chord for me after a really rough and tumble week...
Still, I am interested to hear your amusing comments on these flowers though...need more laughs!
Hope you have a great weekend!

P.S. Go to the Nbaynadamas FACEBOOK page to see some fab photos I took at a wonderful art party from Marine, A Contemporary Art Salon, created and hosted by Claressinka Anderson. Fantastic modern art in a wonderful environment!
